Gourmet Bites and Scenic Nights in Beverly Hills
This setup was for a networking event in Beverly Hills, CA. The catering included tray-passed hors d’oeuvres, dinner, and desserts.

Last weekend, A La Mode Catering had the pleasure of being part of a stunning private event in the Beverly Hills mountains, and we’re still dreaming about it! The location? A gorgeous, modern home nestled high above the city with sweeping views, twinkling lights, and a crowd full of great energy and even better taste.
From the moment we arrived, we knew it was going to be a special night.
The weather was perfect – just the right mix of summer warmth with a slight evening breeze. As the sun started to dip behind the hills, guests began to arrive, greeted by the glow of candlelight, soft music, and the delicious aroma of what was cooking in our kitchen.
A Feast for the Eyes (and Stomachs)
The star of the evening? The food, of course.
We brought out all the stops for this one. Our hot food station was a real show-stopper, with polished chrome chafing dishes lined up and filled with mouth-watering options.
The grilled filet mignon was a crowd favorite—tender, juicy, and seasoned just right. Next to it, we served our grilled saffron chicken, which added a pop of golden color and bold, warm flavor. And for those looking for something a little spicy, our Louisiana penne pasta hit the spot.
Zesty, rich, and packed with just the right amount of heat.
Passed Bites, Big Flavor
As guests mingled, our team made their rounds with a variety of tray-passed hors d’oeuvres that kept people coming back for seconds (and thirds).
The Wagyu cheeseburger sliders were a huge hit—miniature but packed with flavor. The zucchini croquets were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and even the meat lovers couldn’t stop talking about them. The caprese skewers were fresh and light, while the bruschetta was anything but ordinary.
We topped it with a house-made herb sauce and shaved parmesan, which turned a simple toast into something seriously special.
For a bit of elegance, we had delicate hamachi crudo that practically melted in your mouth, and our parmesan crisps with roasted veggies brought a fun, crunchy bite that surprised and delighted.
Salad Lovers, Rejoice
We know not everyone wants something hot and heavy – so we made sure our salad game was strong. Guests could choose from a classic Caesar, a crisp and colorful garden salad, or our refreshing and tangy fattoush salad. Each one had its own vibe, and together they brought balance to the spread.
Plus, we added two beautiful charcuterie boards to the mix—one loaded with meats and cheeses, the other with just fresh, roasted, and pickled veggies for our vegetarian friends. They were the perfect pairing with drinks and added that gorgeous, rustic look to the setup.
Speaking of Drinks…
What’s a great party without a fantastic bar?
Ashley from Winenot Bartending was behind the bar keeping spirits high (literally). From refreshing spritzes to classic cocktails and everything in between, she kept the drinks flowing and the vibe light and fun all evening long.
Her energy matched the event perfectly, and guests couldn’t stop raving about how great the service was.
A Sweet Ending
We believe every event should end on a sweet note, and this one definitely did.
We served up a dessert spread that was simple, beautiful, and seriously delicious. Cannoli filled with sweet, creamy goodness, chocolate cupcakes with rich frosting, and light, fluffy vanilla cupcakes that disappeared before we knew it. It was the perfect way to wrap up a magical night.
Memories Made, Tastefully
Events like this are why we love what we do. The energy, the people, the setting – it all came together in such a natural and beautiful way. At the center of it all was food that brought people together, sparked conversation, and made the night that much more memorable.
