Catering For a Trndez Celebration – 2/13/24
Trndez celebration – an Armenian traditon. This occasion – for newly engaged or newly married couples – marks the onset of spring and fertility.
A Trndez celebration is marked with the couple jumping together over a small fire. The traditional belief is that if touched by the flame, they will soon be blessed with a child.
For our Trendez celebration, the catering included sandwiches, eech salad, ashta pudding from Boujie Boards, party favors, a rocky road cake from cakebyknarik_, lahmajun, prosciutto and cheese on bruschetta, and individually theme-wrapped chocolates.
